The Sun Brings Out The Classic Cars

Filed under: used car parts — admin @ 4:13 am

I write this in 25% degrees of heat one week before the bank holiday weekend in May and my the sun is lovely.  When the sun comes out, suddenly we start to see garage doors opening down the street revealing the marvels behind these metal doors. Yes the sun brings out the classic cars that are loved and cherished but only see the light of day, when their owners can enjoy the driving without any rain getting on the bodywork. This tends to apply a little bit more to the convertible classic cars, such as the MGB Roadster, Morris Minor Convertible and other cars with the soft tops, both of these models have an owner on our street suggesting there are a lot more of these cars around than you may first think.

The cars I have mentioned are more affordable than you first may think and certainly the classic car parts for them are much cheaper than modern car parts. There are some autojumbles up and down the UK on these summer months have have parts you cannot find anywhere else, but in most cases, these owners find them selves buying after market classic car parts to keep the car on the road. Of course these cars are more for fun than transport, with some owners enjoying the restoration and other who prefer to buy and then drive their classic cars more. Then we have those who hardly ever drive their classic cars, but put them on a trailer and pull to classic car shows most weekends. Whatever the vice, it doesn’t matter here we have fully grown adults enjoying the motoring ages of the past and that has got to be good thing.

It is also the time when perfectly normal sane people decide they also want to own a piece of motoring history and go out and buy their first classic car, probably at a premium this time of year. The good news is that the classic car parts and insurance are probably going to be good value, but most underestimate the time involved in getting that vehicle to the standard the new owner wants it., if this is you good look and I hope you enjoy the process.
